Building rules

From the building’s rules to the monthly bill.

Set the rules for each expense category, check the inputs and review the result before issuing notices.

Rules saved per building

Configure expense categories, apartment shares, participation and exceptions for each building. Choose a default allocation method and adjust it for an expense when needed.

Checks before notices go out

Review participating apartments, shares, meter readings and totals during allocation. Rounding is handled as part of the calculation so apartment charges add up to the expense.

A breakdown you can explain

Each expense has an allocation method and apartment-level results. Use the expense details, period readings and bill breakdown to answer questions about a charge.

Reserve funds kept distinct

Track operating and reserve balances separately. Keep reserve contributions and movements visible when reviewing the building’s finances.

Heating allocation

Start with the building’s heating study.

The Greek technical regulation on heating-cost allocation sets out the framework for sharing central-heating expenses. Nestio stores apartment coefficients and period readings for the selected heating method. Your building’s study determines the values to use.

Supported meter inputs

Hours of use

Hour-meter readings, combined with the apartment’s heating coefficients.

Energy consumed

Energy-meter readings for the period, used with the configured fixed and variable components.

Volume consumed

Volume-meter readings for systems configured to allocate costs by measured volume.

For buildings without individual meters, use the supported central-heating method. Confirm the method, coefficients and any exceptions with the building’s engineer.

Personal data

Clear information. Responsible handling.

Building management involves residents’ contact details and financial records. Review how Nestio protects that information and the terms that govern its use.

Common questions

Details worth checking.

Does Nestio decide the rules for my building?

You configure the rules using the building’s documents and applicable requirements. Nestio applies the selected method to the data you enter. Confirm uncertain shares, exceptions or coefficients with the appropriate professional before billing.

What do I need to set up heating?

The building’s heating study, each apartment’s coefficients and the meter type, where applicable. For metered heating, enter the readings for the billing period and review the calculated consumption.

Can I explain how an apartment’s charge was calculated?

Yes. Review the original expense, its allocation method, participating apartments and resulting amounts. For heating, also check the configured coefficients and readings for that period.

How do I request access, correction or deletion of personal data?

Contact info@nestio.gr with your request. The privacy policy explains your rights, the purposes of processing and the retention requirements that may apply.
